Assassinio sul Tevere
Assassinio sul Tevere (Assassination on the Tiber) is a 1979 Italian crime comedy directed by Bruno Corbucci from a script he wrote with Mario Amendola. It marks the sixth screen adventure of Nico Giraldi, the irreverent Roman police inspector portrayed by Tomas Milian. Blending the gritty poliziottesco tradition with broad humor, the film follows the unconventional cop as he pursues a case in his own rough-and-ready fashion. The Italian-language feature runs roughly 98 minutes, and the supporting ensemble includes familiar faces of the genre such as Bombolo, Marcello Martana and Enzo Liberti.
