Boum sur Paris

Movie · 1954 · 2 people

Boum sur Paris is a French comedy film directed by Maurice de Canonge and released in 1954, with a screenplay by de Canonge, Jacques Chabannes and Roger Féral. Built like a revue around the Paris entertainment world of its day, the roughly 95-minute picture brings together an unusually starry lineup. Alongside Jean Marais and Juliette Gréco, it features celebrated figures of French song and cinema such as Édith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Annie Cordy and Charles Boyer. The result is a light-hearted showcase that captures the music-hall spirit of 1950s Paris, blending comedy with musical performances from some of the era's most beloved entertainers.
