The Tale of Despereaux (Despero)

This record is not an independent production; it is a credit for the Turkish dubbing of Despero, the 2008 animated film released internationally as The Tale of Despereaux and based on the novel of the same name by Kate DiCamillo. Directed by Sam Fell, the UK-US co-production follows Despereaux, a small mouse born with his eyes open who, unlike the rest of his kind, feels no fear of cats and loves adventure stories, and who is exiled from his community after befriending the human Princess Pea. The film opened in the United States and the United Kingdom on 19 December 2008 and reached Turkish cinemas on 23 January 2009. According to our records, Bahtiyar Engin was part of the Turkish dubbing cast.
