Dolmen

Dolmen is a French mystery miniseries from 2005, made up of six episodes of roughly ninety minutes each. Written by Nicole Jamet and Marie-Anne Le Pezennec and directed by Didier Albert, it first aired on TF1 between 13 June and 18 July 2005, with broadcasts in Belgium and Switzerland beginning the same summer.

The story follows police officer Marie Kermeur, who comes back to Ty Kern, a craggy island off the Brittany coast, to wed Christian, the childhood sweetheart she grew up with there. What begins as wedding preparation soon turns into mourning when a chain of strange, nightmarish events grips the island, and Marie finds herself investigating the dark secrets behind them. The cast includes Ingrid Chauvin in the lead, alongside Bruno Madinier, Yves Rénier and Georges Wilson.
