61 Days (İftarlık Gazoz)

İftarlık Gazoz, known internationally as "61 Days", is a 2016 Turkish comedy-drama film directed and written by Yüksel Aksu. Set in a small Aegean town in the early 1970s, the story follows Adem, a boy who has just finished fifth grade and apprentices himself to soda maker Cibar Kemal during summer vacation, while secretly deciding to fast during Ramadan. The 115-minute film premiered on 28 January 2016 at Kanyon AVM in Istanbul and opened in cinemas the following day.

Screened in 307 theaters over five weeks, the film drew more than one million viewers and earned roughly 12.3 million lira at the box office. Cem Yılmaz stars as Cibar Kemal, alongside Berat Efe Parlar as Adem, with Macit Koper and Okan Avcı in supporting roles. Blending nostalgia, humor and warmth, the film offers an affectionate portrait of small-town Anatolian life.
