Il sindacalista (The Trade Unionist) is a 1972 Italian comedy directed by Luciano Salce, from a screenplay by Franco Castellano and Giuseppe Moccia. Lando Buzzanca stars in the leading role, supported by an ensemble that includes Renzo Montagnani, Paola Pitagora, Isabella Biagini, Dominique Boschero, Gastone Pescucci and Gino Santercole. With this picture, Buzzanca paid tribute to Giuseppe Di Vittorio, the celebrated figure of the Italian labour movement. Running about 108 minutes, the film belongs to the popular Italian comedy tradition of its period.
