Hatred (Kin) (translated)

Kin is a 1974 Turkish drama-adventure film produced by Erman Film, written and directed by Natuk Baytan. Cüneyt Arkın headlines the cast of this roughly 87-minute color picture.

Kenan kills four of the five men who murdered his wife and ends up in prison, while the fifth killer, Hasan, recovers from his wounds. Police superintendent Şükrü sees to it that Kenan's little daughter is placed in an orphanage. Ten years into his sentence, Kenan develops a serious lung disease and is granted two months of leave for a change of air. He intends to spend this freedom hunting down Hasan to complete his revenge. Although Şükrü keeps him under close watch the whole time, Kenan finally catches up with his target — yet an unexpected truth awaits him at the end of his quest.

The film also features familiar Yeşilçam faces such as Ahmet Mekin, Erol Taş, Yıldırım Gencer, Hüseyin Zan, Ekrem Dümer and Zeki Sezer.
