Atla Gel Şaban

Atla Gel Şaban is a Turkish comedy from 1984, directed by Natuk Baytan and starring Kemal Sunal. Niyazi, a poor man in desperate need of quick money, discovers that he has an extraordinary gift for predicting horse races. A mafia boss who gets wind of this talent kidnaps him in order to have betting slips filled out on his behalf. The catch is that Niyazi can only make his predictions under peculiar conditions: the minibus setting in which he normally fills out his slips must be recreated exactly, right down to the song playing inside it. Nevra Serezli and Turgut Özatay are also among the cast.
