Red Light (Kırmızı Işık) (translated)

Kırmızı Işık ("Red Light") is an educational Turkish television series broadcast on TRT 1 in 2008, produced to build public awareness of traffic rules. Made by TRT's Ankara Television Directorate, it was directed by Hilmi Akyalçın from scripts written by Bayram Özbek and Cavidan Balcı, and was prepared jointly with the General Directorate of Security and the Turkish Federation of Drivers and Motorists.

The series concluded with its thirteenth episode. Its cast features names such as Nihat Altınkaya and Turgay Tanülkü, and its poster carried the campaign's central message that traffic safety is one of the most important investments in the future.
