Luck By Chance

Luck By Chance is a 2009 Hindi-language Indian drama and the directorial debut of Zoya Akhtar, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment.

It follows an aspiring actor who arrives in Mumbai chasing stardom while struggling to hold his relationships together, starring Farhan Akhtar and Konkona Sen Sharma alongside supporting turns from Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Juhi Chawla; Aamir Khan, the only cast member in our records, appears as one of several stars making cameo appearances as themselves.

Released on 30 January 2009, the film was a modest box-office performer but drew strong critical praise, and it earned Zoya Akhtar the Best Debut Director award at the 55th Filmfare Awards.
