Happy Days (Neşeli Günler)

Neşeli Günler (Happy Days) is a 1978 Turkish comedy film directed by Orhan Aksoy, written by Sadık Şendil and produced by Nahit Ataman for Arzu Film. It tells, in a humorous tone, the story of a quarrelsome married couple's separation and the events that follow.

Kazım and Saadet, pickle sellers with six children, divorce over a dispute about whether pickles should be made with lemon or vinegar; the children are split between the parents and the siblings grow up apart for years. When they finally reunite, they set out to reconcile their estranged mother and father. Münir Özkul and Adile Naşit lead the cast as the pickle sellers, alongside Şener Şen, Ayşen Gruda, Oya Aydoğan, Ahmet Sezerel, Mürüvvet Sim and İhsan Yüce. Şener Şen's character Ziya, with his memorable lines, has helped make the film one of the most beloved comedies of the Yeşilçam era.
