Nicholas on Holiday

Based on the beloved children's books by René Goscinny and Jean-Jacques Sempé, this French family comedy is the sequel to the 2009 film Little Nicholas. Co-written and directed by Laurent Tirard alongside Grégoire Vigneron, it was released in France on 9 July 2014.

As the school year ends, young Nicholas heads to the seaside with his family and spends the summer at the Hotel Beau-Rivage. He quickly makes new friends on the beach, but meeting a wide-eyed girl named Isabella fills him with dread, as he becomes convinced his parents intend to marry him off to her. A string of misunderstandings turns the trip into an unforgettable holiday for everyone. The cast includes Mathéo Boisselier, Valérie Lemercier and Kad Merad. A further sequel followed in 2021.
