The Last Step Towards Death (Ölüme Son Adım) (translated)

The Last Step Towards Death is a 1983 Turkish action-adventure film written and directed by Çetin İnanç. Carrying the exaggerated style of Yeşilçam exploitation cinema of its era, it tells a fast-paced rescue story.

The plot follows old friends who reunite to save a professor kidnapped by a criminal gang and forced to work in drug production. The small team of two men and one woman battles through a series of dangers before they can reach him.

Cüneyt Arkın stars as Kaan, with Emel Tümer as Leyla and Yıldırım Gencer as Ali. The cast also includes Hikmet Taşdemir, Baykal Kent and Nazan Ayas. The film was produced by Mehmet Karahafız for Anıt Film.
