Don't Let the Boss Hear (Patron Duymasın) (translated)

Patron Duymasın ("Don't Let the Boss Hear") is a 1985 Turkish comedy directed by Zeki Alasya, who also stars opposite his long-time comedy partner Metin Akpınar. Running about 88 minutes, the Turkish-language film is a local remake of Colin Higgins's 1980 Hollywood hit "9 to 5".

The plot mines farce from the misadventures of two friends who end up kidnapping their boss. Around the two leads, the film assembles performers familiar from the Devekuşu Kabare stage, among them Cihat Tamer, Ali Yalaz, Selim Naşit, Güzin Doğan, Ferdi Atuner and Sami Hazinses.
