Metin Akpınar — Biography
Metin Akpınar was born in 1941 in İstanbul.
He completed his education at İstanbul University's Faculty of Law and Faculty of Letters.
The master actor Metin Akpınar began his professional artistic career in 1964 at the Ulvi Uraz Theatre.
He is one of the founders of Deve Kuşu Kabare Tiyatrosu, the first cabaret theatre.
He began appearing on screen in 1972 with the film Tatlı Dillim and is known for the comedy films in which he starred alongside Zeki Alasya.
Having appeared in many films, Metin Akpınar most recently joined the cast of the series Aşk Laftan Anlamaz, broadcast on Show TV and starring Hande Erçel and Burak Deniz, where he portrays the character Haşmet.
