Personal Column

Personal Column (original French title: Pièges) is a 1939 French thriller directed by Robert Siodmak. The leading roles are played by Maurice Chevalier, Pierre Renoir, Marie Déa and Erich von Stroheim. The picture was filmed at the Joinville Studios in Paris, with set design by art directors Maurice Colasson and Georges Wakhévitch. Produced by Speva from a screenplay by Jacques Companéez, the film was later remade in Hollywood as Lured, released in 1947 under the direction of Douglas Sirk with Lucille Ball in the starring role.
