Marie Déa — Biography
Born Odette Alice Marie Deupès, Marie Déa came into the world on 17 May 1912 in Nanterre and died on 1 March 1992 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Active in French cinema for over four decades, she took part in more than fifty films between 1939 and 1983.
She is best remembered for playing Eurydice in Jean Cocteau's now-classic Orphée, and her filmography also includes Caroline Chérie, The Green Mare, Two Are Guilty and Armaguedon. Married to fellow actor Lucien Nat, she kept working on screen well into the later stretch of her career.
