Armaguedon
Armaguedon is a 1977 French-Italian crime thriller directed and written by Alain Jessua, adapted from David Lippincott's novel The Voice of Armageddon. The film stars Alain Delon and Jean Yanne.
The story follows Louis Carrier, a man who adopts the alias Armaguedon and challenges the police with terrorist threats as a way of taking revenge on society. Unable to identify or catch him, the authorities turn to a psychiatrist for help, setting off a tense battle of wits between the two men. Delon plays Dr. Michel Ambrose, while Yanne portrays Carrier; Marie Déa appears as Gisèle Valens.
The picture drew more than 700,000 admissions during its French theatrical run.
