Shokooh-e ghahraman

Shokooh-e ghahraman is a 1969 Iranian film written and directed by Mohammad Zarrindast. The principal cast includes Niloofar, Iran Ghaderi and Ali Dehghan. Made in Persian, the picture belongs to the pre-revolutionary era of Iranian commercial cinema.

The film opened simultaneously in ten cinemas across Tehran in Shahrivar 1348, with screenings also taking place in Isfahan and Mashhad at the same time. Such a wide release points to the standing the production enjoyed with exhibitors of the period. With Zarrindast handling both direction and screenplay and a cast drawn from the era's recognizable performers, the film stands as an example of the popular filmmaking of its day.
