Snobs ! is a French comedy directed by Jean-Pierre Mocky. Filmed in 1961, it reached cinemas the following year. The cast is headed by Michael Lonsdale, Jacques Dufilho and Luc Andrieux, with additional appearances by such familiar French performers of the period as Élina Labourdette, Francis Blanche, Jean Tissier and Claude Mansard. One of Mocky's earliest features, the film centers on arrogant, conceited figures, as its title suggests, and counts among the first demonstrations of the socially critical humor that the director would keep returning to throughout his long and prolific career.
