Tell No One

In Ne le dis à personne (Tell No One), pediatrician Alexandre Beck remains haunted by the murder of his wife Margot eight years earlier, in a case blamed on a serial killer who confessed to every killing except hers. When two more bodies are unearthed near the spot where Margot was found, the investigation is reopened and Alexandre suddenly becomes the prime suspect. Then a cryptic e-mail arrives suggesting that Margot may still be alive, pulling him into a desperate race to clear his name, uncover the truth and stay ahead of both the police and a ruthless professional killer. With only a loyal friend and a tough lawyer to rely on, he is drawn into a web of secrets surrounding that long-ago night. Directed by Guillaume Canet, who co-wrote the screenplay with Philippe Lefebvre, the film adapts Harlan Coben's 2001 novel of the same name and stars François Cluzet. It won four awards at the 2007 César ceremony, including Best Director and Best Actor.
