The Hateful Wolf (Persian: گرگ بیزار) is a 1973 Iranian drama and crime film directed by Maziar Partow from a screenplay by Behzad Farahani. The film stars Behrouz Vossoughi alongside Yadollah Mohammadinejad and runs for roughly 97 minutes. It belongs to the body of Iranian cinema produced in the years before the 1979 revolution.

The picture was shot on location in northeastern Iran, in the town of Majen and the village of Dowlatabad, both part of the Shahroud area. These rural settings provide the backdrop for the film's dramatic storyline.
