The Immoral Moment
La Dénonciation, known internationally as The Immoral Moment, is a 1962 French film directed by Jacques Doniol-Valcroze and produced by Pierre Braunberger. Classified as a war drama, the French-language picture runs roughly 105 minutes.
The film holds a distinctive place in film history as one of only two features of the French New Wave era to tackle the subject of the OAS, the other being Jean-Luc Godard's "Le Petit Soldat" (1961). It was also honored with the Silver Shell for Best Director.
The cast includes Françoise Brion and Michael Lonsdale, alongside such familiar figures of the period's French cinema as Maurice Ronet, Laurent Terzieff, Nicole Berger, Sacha Pitoëff, France Anglade and François Maistre.
