Tranches de vie

Tranches de vie is a French sketch comedy film directed by François Leterrier and released on 6 February 1985. Adapted from Gérard Lauzier's comic strip of the same name, with Lauzier also writing the screenplay, the film strings together a series of self-contained vignettes that look at everyday life through a humorous, at times lightly science-fiction-tinged lens. Its large ensemble cast includes Christian Clavier, Michel Galabru, Roland Giraud, Jacques Mathou, Laura Antonelli, Michel Boujenah, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Josiane Balasko, Gérard Jugnot, Anémone and Pierre Richard, among many other familiar faces of French cinema of the period.
