Trap for the Assassin

Trap for the Assassin (original French title: Roger la Honte) is a 1966 French-Italian crime drama directed by Riccardo Freda. The film is an adaptation of Jules Mary's 1886 novel of the same name, with a screenplay by Jean-Louis Bory, and runs 105 minutes.

The French-language production stars Georges Géret, Irene Papas and Jean-Pierre Marielle, alongside a supporting cast that includes Anne Vernon, Jean Carmet, Dominique Zardi, Henri Attal and Jacques Monod. It was released in France under the title Roger la Honte and in Italy as Trappola per l'assassino.
