Almila Bağrıaçık — Biography

Almila Bağrıaçık was born in Ankara on July 10, 1990. She moved to Berlin with her family and has pursued her career primarily in Germany, becoming a well-known face in German cinema and television.

She made her debut on the big screen in the role of Rana in the German-Turkish co-production *Die Fremde* (The Stranger), released in 2010. In 2013, she appeared in *300 Worte Deutsch*; in 2016, she portrayed Semiya Şimşek in *Die Opfer - Vergesst mich nicht*. In 2017, she brought the character Amara to life in the internationally acclaimed television series *4 Blocks*.

From 2018 onwards, she played the role of Mila Sahin in the Kiel installment of Germany's long-running crime series Tatort; she first appeared in the series in the film Borowski und das Haus der Geister. She was also part of the cast of the popular period drama Die Kaiserin; and in Türkiye, she appeared in the production Hayat Şarkısı.

Bagriacik, who has a presence in the television worlds of both countries, is considered one of the most notable actors of his generation, primarily known for his dramatic roles.
