Baran Akbulut — Biography

Baran Akbulut was born on April 12, 1984 in İstanbul and completed his acting education in the Theatre Department of the Anadolu University State Conservatory.

He made his screen debut in 2008 playing the character Beşir in the series Aşk-ı Memnu, then appeared in the series Yunus Emre Aşkın Yolculuğu, Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi and Yedi Güzel Adam, and also moved into film with Çanakkale 1915, Son, El Yazısı and Usta. He played the character Ömer in the series Aşk ve Mavi, broadcast on ATV.

In 2026 Baran Akbulut joined the cast of the series Kuruluş Orhan, in which he plays the character Germiyanoğlu Mehmet Bey.
