Ece Yaşar — Biography

Ece Yaşar (born 1994 in Ankara) is a Turkish actress. A graduate of the Acting Department of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography at Ankara University, she began her screen career in 2015 with the character Eda in the series Kara Sevda. Her real breakthrough came with the character Karaca, whom she portrayed over a long run in the series Çukur (2017-2021), a role that earned her great audience appreciation. In the same period she also appeared on the big screen as Maral in the film Direniş Karatay (2018).

She left Çukur in 2021 and that same year took on the character Derya Güven in the series Annemizi Saklarken. In 2023 she played Ceylan in the series Kısmet; that year she also made tabloid headlines when she fell while performing an aerial hoop dance at an event. In a 2024 interview she said that every role is a world of its own for her.
