Ekin Mert Daymaz — Biography

Born on 2 December 1990 in Arnhem, the Netherlands, to a family originally from Sivas, Ekin Mert Daymaz placed third in the Best Model of Turkey pageant while studying coaching and fitness at Haliç University.

He began acting in 2014 with Not Defteri, then won a large fan base the following summer as Volkan Mazharoğlu in Çilek Kokusu; he went on to appear in Hayat Sevince Güzel (2016), Kırlangıç Fırtınası and Savaşçı (2017), and Ağlama Anne, Aşktroloji, Prangalı Yarim and Payitaht Abdülhamid (2018). After Gençliğim Eyvah (2020), in 2022 he played Civanmert Korkmaz in TRT1's Seni Kalbime Sakladım and Emre in the web series Hayaller ve Hayatlar, and appeared that same year in the films Obsesyon and Biricik Sevgilim, followed by Her Şeye Rağmen in 2023. He played Tufan Dağlıca in TRT1's Bir Sevdadır in 2024 and İlbay in the sixth season of Kuruluş Osman in 2025, before returning to screens in 2026 as Ferhat, the younger son of Bedrettin Hanoğlu, in the NOW TV series Yeraltı.
