Emir Berke Zincidi — Biography

Emir Berke Zincidi was born on 4 October 2005 in Ankara. His father worked as a model, and through that connection Zincidi was signed to a talent agency at the age of two, going on to appear in television commercials before he had started school. His first series role came in 2009 in Bu Kalp Seni Unutur Mu?, and the following year he was picked from roughly two hundred children auditioning for the part of young Osman in Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki, a role he prepared for with acting coaches and worked on set alongside a child psychologist; the performance brought him a best child actor prize at that year's television awards.

When the series jumped forward a decade in its third season, an older actor took over the role. Zincidi went on to play Mehmetcan in Küçük Ağa from 2014, appeared in the films Hititya: Madalyonun Sırrı and Mu Tiya Mu the Mysterious Melody, took a guest part in Arka Sokaklar, and starred opposite himself in the Kanal D series İkizler Memo-Can, playing both twin brothers, Memo and Can. He has also fronted advertising campaigns, including for Garanti Bankası's Bonus card.
