Kayra Zabcı — Biography

Kayra Aleyna Zabcı was born on 21 August 2001 in Istanbul. She began modeling as a child and won first place in the Best Model Child Turkey and World competitions in 2013; she attended Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School before continuing at the Acting Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory.

As a child she took small roles in productions such as Küçük Kıyamet, Küçük Ağa, Vatanım Sensin, Gülperi and Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir, before gaining wider recognition for her performance in the 2016 film Seddülbahir 32 Saat. As an adult she reached a broad audience playing Oya in the series Canım Annem, and drew further attention as Seferiye Hatun, one of the wives of Sultan Alparslan, in the second season of the historical drama Alparslan: Büyük Selçuklu.

She also appeared in Another Self (2022), and in 2024 took the lead role of Yasemin in the Kanal D daily series Bizi Birleştiren Hayat, which premiered that September and ran for around 150 episodes. In mid-2025 she made her stage debut, adding theatre to her body of work.
