Meltem Pamirtan Kasap was born on 6 January 1977 in Ankara.
A graduate of the Theatre Department of the Hacettepe University State Conservatory, the actress began her screen career in 2003 with the series En Son Babalar Duyar.
In the following years she took on roles in many series, including 24 Saat, Zeytin Dalı, Rüzgarlı Bahçe, Hayat Türküsü, Küçük Adımlar, Parmaklıklar Ardında, Prenses Perfinya, Aşk ve Ceza and Güllerin Savaşı.
She played the character Vesime in the series Hıçkırık, broadcast on Kanal D. The actress is married to Kubilay Kasap.
