Love and Punishment (Aşk ve Ceza) (translated)

Aşk ve Ceza is a Turkish romantic drama series produced by TMC Film, written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Kudret Sabancı. It premiered on atv on 5 January 2010 and concluded on 27 June 2011 after two seasons and 62 episodes. Filmed in Van, Bodrum and Istanbul, the series stars Nurgül Yeşilçay, Murat Yıldırım and Feride Çetin.

The story begins when Yasemin, who works at an advertising company, discovers that her fiancé Mehmet has been unfaithful. Devastated, she travels to Bodrum, where meeting a man named Savaş turns her life upside down. Savaş, meanwhile, loses his brother and father in a car accident, and the two characters' fates intertwine. From 2011 onward, the series was broadcast in more than 43 countries, earning wide international attention.
