Nizam Namidar — Biography

Nizam Namidar was born on 11 August 1961 in Istanbul. After graduating from the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Technical University of Berlin, he turned to art; in 1985 he joined amateur theatre work in Berlin and stepped into professional acting the following year. Having taken private acting lessons, Namidar worked with master names such as Rutkay Aziz, Yücel Erten, Meray Ülgen, Nurhan Karadağ and Kerim Avşar. Beginning his screen career in 2007, the actor became known to wide audiences through the role of İzzet in the series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz. He portrayed Cumali Sırhan in Benim Adım Melek, Atıf in Sakla Beni, Hikmet in Kara Tahta, Nizam in Ateş Kuşları and Hasip Aydın in the series Bahar. In cinema, he appeared in the 2022 film Kurak Günler in the role of Selim Öztürk. Joining the cast of the series Kızgın Topraklar in 2025, Namidar continues to carry his theatrical discipline into his screen and film work.
