Serenay Sarıkaya — Biography

Serenay Sarıkaya was born on 1 July 1991 in Antalya. She took an interest in theatre during her high school years and trained as an actress after finishing school. In 2007 she won the Jury Special Award at the European Beauty Youth Competition, and in 2010 she came second in the Miss Turkey contest.

She began acting with the 2008 feature film Plajda; in the same period she appeared in the series Peri Masalı, Limon Ağacı, Paramparça Aşklar and Adanalı, and became widely known through productions such as Yer Gök Aşk, Lale Devri and Medcezir. She also starred in the films Behzat Ç. Ankara Yanıyor (2013) and İkimizin Yerine (2016).

In 2017 she portrayed the character Duru in the series Fi, broadcast on Puhu TV, sharing the lead role with Ozan Güven, Mehmet Günsur and Berrak Tüzünataç.
