Barefoot

Barefoot (Persian: پابرهنه‌ها) is a 1968 Iranian film directed and written by Rahim Roshanian. Shot in Persian, it belongs to the commercial output of pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema. The cast features Beyk İmanverdi, a familiar face of the era's popular screen, alongside Soheila, Karmen and Manuçehr Vüsuk. Roshanian shaped the production both behind the camera and at the writing desk, and the film is firmly dated to 1968, corresponding to the year 1347 of the Iranian calendar. Internationally, the picture circulates under the English title Barefoot.
