Chiko

Chiko is a 2008 German crime drama written and directed by Özgür Yıldırım and produced by Fatih Akın. The cast includes Denis Moschitto, Moritz Bleibtreu and Fahri Yardım.

The story follows İsa, known as Chiko, and his best friend Tibet, two young Turks growing up in the suburbs of Hamburg, for whom money, power and respect matter more than anything. Their lives change when they cross paths with Brownie, the drug dealer who controls everything they dream of. Chiko does whatever it takes to earn the dealer's trust and soon becomes his right-hand man. But when Tibet clashes with Brownie, Chiko finds himself trying to hold together a dangerous balance — everything he has risked his life for now hangs by a thread: his reputation, his position and his friendship with Tibet.
