Strawberry Pasta (Çilekli Pasta)

Çilekli Pasta is a 2000 Turkish television drama film written and directed by Çağan Irmak, with Uğur Polat and Yasemin Kozanoğlu in the leading roles.

The story centers on a young man who runs a modest pastry shop and is devoted to his craft. Every day he carefully prepares a strawberry cake that he refuses to sell to anyone, setting it aside for the person he will one day truly love. His quiet routine changes when Burcu Burkan, a well-known actress, arrives at the shop for a film shoot. Although the two come from completely different worlds, an unexpected bond forms between them. Burcu, however, is keeping an important secret from everyone around her.

The supporting ensemble features Taner Barlas, Kerem Kupacı and Akasya Asıltürkmen. Made for television during the early stage of Irmak's career, the film is noted for its simple, heartfelt storytelling.
