Crazy Bediş (Çılgın Bediş) (translated)

Çılgın Bediş (“Crazy Bediş”) is a Turkish youth comedy series adapted from the comic-strip character cartoonist Özden Öğrük created for Gırgır magazine in 1976. It follows Bediş, a high school student living with her family and grandfather, and the escapades she shares with her friends.

The show premiered on Kanal D on July 8, 1996 and ran until September 18, 1999, before being revived on Show TV from December 31, 2000 to March 3, 2001, wrapping up after a total of 70 episodes. Yonca Evcimik led the cast, with Birgül Ulusoy, Dolunay Soysert, and Gülçin Hatıhan also appearing; the series won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Series.
