Delhi Belly

Delhi Belly is a 2011 Indian action comedy directed by Abhinay Deo from a screenplay by Akshat Verma. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions in association with UTV Motion Pictures, it stars Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala, with Vijay Raaz and Kim Bodnia also in the cast. A Hinglish-language film with roughly 70% English and 30% Hindi dialogue, it follows three young Delhiites who unwittingly find themselves up against the city's underworld.

Released on 1 July 2011, the film received an 'A' certificate in India for its profanity, violence and sexual content. Its unusually free tone in both language and the protagonists' behaviour made it atypical for Bollywood and put it in Indian press headlines. Over time it has come to be regarded as a modern cult classic and was remade in Tamil as Settai.
