Written and directed by Roger Vadim, this 1973 French-Italian co-production is an erotic drama that reimagines the legendary seducer Don Juan reborn as a woman. The heroine knows her own worth and can bend men to her will, yet her mastery over others brings her no happiness. The film marked the fifth collaboration between Vadim and his former wife Brigitte Bardot, whom he had turned into an international star with And God Created Woman in 1956, and it was among Bardot's final screen appearances before she retired from acting. Jane Birkin, Robert Hossein, Mathieu Carrière and Maurice Ronet appear alongside her. The picture was released in Turkey under the title Don Juan '74 and in some English-language markets as Ms. Don Juan.
