Love on a Pillow

Love on a Pillow, released in France as Le Repos du guerrier, is a 1962 French-Italian drama directed by Roger Vadim. The film brings Christiane Rochefort's award-winning novel of the same name to the screen, with Vadim also handling the screenplay. Brigitte Bardot stars opposite Robert Hossein, while the ensemble is rounded out by Macha Méril, James Robertson Justice, Michel Serrault, Robert Dalban and others. Shot in French and running just over a hundred minutes, the picture stands as one of the collaborations between Vadim and Bardot during the height of her stardom in early-1960s European cinema.
