First Love, released in Italy as Primo amore, is a 1941 Italian drama directed by Carmine Gallone, one of the country's most prolific filmmakers of the era. The screenplay was co-written by Cesare Giulio Viola and Lucio D'Ambra, and the picture was shot at Rome's Cinecittà Studios, the hub of Italian film production at the time.

Leonardo Cortese, Vivi Gioi and Luigi Almirante head the cast, supported by an ensemble that includes Valentina Cortese, Osvaldo Valenti, Clelia Matania and Guido Celano, who plays the ship captain. Running about 109 minutes, the film belongs to the body of Italian features produced during the war years and follows the period's tradition of emotionally driven storytelling.
