Happy Go Lucky

Happy Go Lucky, released in France as Au petit bonheur, is a 1946 comedy directed by Marcel L'Herbier. The screenplay was written by journalist and author Françoise Giroud. Filming took place at the Neuilly Studios in Paris, with sets designed by art director Jacques Colombier. Danielle Darrieux and André Luguet lead the cast, joined by François Périer and Henri Crémieux. Reflecting the lighter comedic strand of postwar French cinema, the picture also offers a glimpse into the studio production methods of its time.
