Kiss of Life (Hayat Öpücüğü) (translated)

"Hayat Öpücüğü" (Kiss of Life) is a 2015 Turkish romantic comedy directed by Şenol Sönmez, from a screenplay by Saygın Delibaş and Fethi Kantarcı, and produced by BKM. Ali Sunal and Hatice Şendil star in the leading roles, with the film marking Şendil's first appearance on the big screen. The supporting cast includes Ayda Aksel, Ahmet Saraçoğlu, Zerrin Sümer, Janset, Somer Karvan and Mehmetcan Mincinozlu.

The story follows Metin, a man whose obsessive fears leave him struggling to connect with people and dependent on hospital life, and Hayat, a spirited young woman. What begins with quarrels grows into a love that changes both their lives, teaching Metin that breathing means far more than merely surviving. Released in Türkiye on 9 October 2015, the film fell short of box office expectations, drawing a total of 127,446 viewers.
