Immortal (Kadın Tuzağı)

Immortal (original French title: Immortel, ad vitam), known in Turkey as Kadın Tuzağı, is a 2004 science fiction film directed by Enki Bilal, adapted from the first two volumes of his own Nikopol graphic novel trilogy. The story unfolds in New York City in 2095, where genetically modified humans live alongside unaltered ones and anyone attempting to enter Central Park is killed instantly. A mysterious pyramid appears above the city, where the Egyptian gods are judging the god Horus. Below, a blue-haired young woman named Jill is arrested, and medical examination reveals she is not fully human and has only seven days left to live — while Horus makes his way toward her. Starring Linda Hardy, Thomas Kretschmann and Charlotte Rampling, the film is regarded as one of the first major productions shot entirely on a digital backlot, combining live actors with computer-generated environments. A French-Italian-British co-production filmed in English, it received mixed reviews.
