La Minute de vérité

La Minute de vérité (English: The Moment of Truth) is a 1952 drama directed by Jean Delannoy. A co-production of France, Italy and Austria, it was shot in French and runs about 108 minutes. In Italy it is known as L'ora della verità, in Germany as Geständnis einer Nacht and in Spain as El minuto de la verdad. Starring Jean Gabin, Michèle Morgan and Daniel Gélin, it brings together well-known French performers of its day.

Besides the three leads, Italian actor Walter Chiari and Doris Duranti have important roles. Robert Dalban, Laure Paillette, Albert Michel, André Chanu, Charles Bayard, Émile Genevois, Georges Bever and Grégoire Gromoff are among the other performers in the production.

Delannoy wrote the screenplay with Henri Jeanson, Roland Laudenbach and Robert Thoeren. Filming took place at the Francoeur Studios in Paris, with sets by art director Serge Piménoff. The score was composed by Paul Misraki, Winfried Zillig and Georges Van Parys.
