Man Who Cried for Revenge

Man Who Cried for Revenge (original title: Il suo nome gridava vendetta) is a 1968 Italian-Spanish spaghetti western directed by Mario Caiano, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tito Carpi. An action-driven example of the genre, the film stars Anthony Steffen and William Berger, with a supporting cast that includes Ida Galli and Alberto Dell'Acqua. Shot in Italian and running about 91 minutes, it belongs to the wave of western co-productions mounted between Italy and Spain in the late 1960s. The picture reached German-speaking audiences in June 1970 under the title Django spricht das Nachtgebet, while in France it was released as Son nom crie vengeance.
