Alberto Dell'Acqua — Biography

Alberto Dell'Acqua, born in 1938 in Campobasso, is an Italian actor and stuntman who was frequently billed under the pseudonyms Robert Widmark, Cole Kitosh, Al Waterman and Albert Nova. He first faced a camera in 1955 in Luigi Capuano's La rossa and went on to more than forty pictures.

Spaghetti westerns were his home ground. Killer Caliber .32 (1967), Kill Them All and Come Back Alone (1968), Boot Hill (1969), They Call Me Trinity (1970) and the two films in which he took the part of Sartana - Alleluja & Sartana (1972) and Trinity and Sartana Are Coming (1972) - are among his best known. He also worked on Battle of the Amazons (1973), Mannaja (1977) and, with Lucio Fulci, on Zombi 2.

Turkish audiences knew him as Robert Widmark. He acted opposite Cüneyt Arkın in Üç Kağıtçılar (1975), played Piç Rıza in Baş Belası (1976) and shared the screen with Tarık Akan in Babanın Evlatları (1977). His brothers Arnaldo, Roberto and Ottaviano Dell'Acqua were likewise actors and stuntmen.
