In the Jail Now (O Şimdi Mahkum)

"O Şimdi Mahkûm" (internationally known as "In the Jail Now") is a 2005 Turkish black comedy directed by Abdullah Oğuz from a screenplay by Levent Kazak. A sequel to the 2002 film "O Şimdi Asker," it continues following the same circle of friends after their military service. The 125-minute film stars Burhan Öçal, Yavuz Bingöl, Levent Kazak, Gökhan Özoğuz, Erkan Can, and Zafer Algöz.

The story centers on characters struggling to rebuild their lives after the army, who find themselves behind bars after an unexpected chain of events, blending prison humor with the tension of crime stories. At the 2005 Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the film won four awards, establishing itself as one of the notable Turkish productions of its year.
